St. James' Anglican Church Land Acknowledgement

St. James Anglican Church is situated on the Haldimand Tract; land that was promised to the Haudenosaunee, Anishnawbe, and Neutral Peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to worship on this land and we acknowledge the part the Anglican Church has played in harms to Indigenous Peoples through Residential Schools. We are committed to working towards reconciliation through continued learning, care for the land we occupy, and knowledge of what we still have to do.
